Indy Hall Book a Guest Pass

Your Health and Safety is our priority

Last Updated: 10/10/2023

The COVID-19 pandemic is present and ongoing, and our first priority is to keep everyone in our community - members, potential new members, visitors, and team - safe and healthy.

Our Vaccination Requirement

All of our team, members, and guests are expected to have their COVID-19 vaccination to enter our space at 709 N. 2nd Street.

As of October 2023, vaccination cards are no longer being issued at many vaccination sites, so we are no longer asking people to provide proof of vaccination, but a COVID vaccination is still expected and required for all guests.

The safest way to prevent illness and spread of the virus is to receive the most updated COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, or Novavax

We strongly encourage our members, prospective members, and guests to receive the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine if possible.

Check-ins and Contact Tracing

All members and staff are required to check-in at an iPad station near the front door. This information is stored privately and securely, and may be used to help us with responsible reporting of a potential COVID19 exposure.

Check-in data that is older than 14 days can be deleted by request.

All event partners are required to keep available a contact list to allow a responsible disclosure in the event of a COVID exposure report. We do not use this contact information for any other purposes.

Your Own Responsibility & Discretion

If you feel sick, regardless of vaccination status, please stay home. You must stay home if you are symptomatic, or have been exposed to someone else who is.

If you are traveling (for work or pleasure), or attending any events larger than 10 people, we strongly encourage you to take a COVID test prior to coming to our space regardless of whether or not you are feeling any symptoms. We can’t and won’t police this, but expect members to do the right thing.

Mask Wearing Policy

Mask-wearing is optional but welcome for members, staff, and guests.

Members are encouraged to bring their own masks, though Indy Hall offers a limited amount of KN95 masks for free in our space. Just ask a member of the Indy Hall team for a mask, and you’ll receive one.

Air & Filtration

The building has a brand new, top of the line HVAC system with premium filtration, as well as lots of openable windows for additional natural airflow when the weather allows. Outdoor seating is also available, weather permitting.

Bottom Line

We’re doing everything we can to make sure that our clubhouse is as safe and comfortable as possible, and we trust that same effort is shared by every individual who visits our space.

We may receive new information or learn better methods to ensure everyone’s safety, and when that happens, the Indy Hall Team will communicate those updates as quickly and widely as we can. We appreciate your attention, flexibility, and support when that happens.

We know we can’t make this transition possible without you, and we’re so grateful for your contributions, understanding, and shared interest in caring for the well-being of fellow members.

We want to thank the Trellis community in San Francisco for their help and inspiration for this page. Much of the language above was borrowed and adapted, with their blessing, directly from their own community safety guidelines. Their kindness to let us use their words means a great deal to us.

We searched high and low for exemplary COVID-19 guidelines for coworking communities, and their COVID guidelines are the best we’ve ever seen. Check them out when you’re in SF!
